NICHOLAS BENWELL
Born into a vintage car family, Nicholas Benwell’s passion for vintage sports cars led to a 25 year career, culminating in a wealth of experience and knowledge of thoroughbred pre-war sports cars. Originally trained in all aspects of restoration, Nicholas went on to work for a number of years in the auction world with Christies and Bonhams and gained extensive experience across Europe and America. Nicholas acquired Phoenix Green Garage in 2005 determined to continue its heritage. With a keen eye for authenticity and a passion for research Nicholas has completed sympathetic restorations of vintage Alfa Romeos, Lancias and Bugattis for customers around the world. Nick's restorations have competed in the Mille Miglia and have been displayed at major concours events. They have also featured in several leading automotive publications including Classic and Sports Car and The Automobile. Nicholas offers consultancy, restoration and preservation services in addition to the sales of rare parts, with a particular emphasis on pre-war Alfa Romeos and Lancias.

DAVID GOODWIN
Success in business allowed David to follow his lifelong passion for cars, owning many interesting and collectible examples over the years. As an experienced collector David developed a mature insight into how the market has evolved, a feel for current sentiment and where both market and sentiment are likely to go. Following the sale of his telecommunications company and with many friends and contacts in the industry, it was inevitable that David would enter the collector car sector. David and Nick established Phoenix Green Sales Limited as specialists in the sales of pre & post-war thoroughbred sports cars with David as post-war car specialist.
