PHOENIX GREEN GARAGE

Phoenix Green Garage has long been established as a destination and meeting place for car enthusiasts of many marques and models. Considered the spiritual home of the VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club) when it was originated in October 1934, Phoenix Green Garage remains today a venue for club meets and events, where owners of pre-war Alfa Romeo’s,  Bugattis, Frazer Nashes, Lancias and more congregate around their cars to share stories with like-minded enthusiasts and appreciate the warm and convivial environment of the adjacent pub, The Phoenix Inn. To visit the Phoenix Green Garage contact Nicholas Benwell to arrange an appointment. Contact The Phoenix Inn directly for bookings.

DAVID GOODWIN

Success in business allowed David to follow his lifelong passion for cars, owning many interesting and collectible examples over the years. As an experienced collector David gained a mature insight into how the market evolved and a feel for current sentiment. And where the market is likely to go. Following the sale of his telecommunications company and with many friends and contacts in the industry it was inevitable that David would enter the collector car sector, first as a consultant assisting established businesses in the UK classic car world and latterly forming Goodwin Cars, his successful dealership and brokerage operation specialising in post-war collectible cars. David has had a close association with Nick Benwell and Phoenix Green Garage for many years, which led the pair to establish Phoenix Green Garage Sales where David is responsible for the sale of pre-war cars. Phoenix Green Garage Sales purchase interesting pre-war cars for stock or sell client cars on a consignment/SOR basis and can also source specific cars to order.
